NTSB Factual Report

According to the pilot, he landed on runway 24, a 3,481-foot runway. The pilot stated that the airplane "touched down too far down the runway." He advanced the throttle and attempted to take off in order to clear a fence at the end of the runway. However, the airplane impacted the top of the fence, crossed a road, hit another fence, and came to rest against a building. The firewall, horizontal stabilizer, and both wings were substantially damaged. The pilot did not report any mechanical failures or malfunctions of the airplane. The winds reported at the airport about the time of the accident were from 330 degrees at 6 knots.

NTSB Probable Cause

The pilot's delay in aborting the landing, which resulted in a collision with a fence.
